Eating Disorders

Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating, Food Addictions

Eating disorders are complex conditions generally requiring specialist help. They affect people on many different levels, with a complex interplay between aspects of wellbeing including: health, body image, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, frustration, loneliness, relationship issues and food.

The complex interplay of these various aspects mean that careful untangling of the many different underlying threads is required for successful treatment. This includes making sense of the historical causes, addressing any underlying psychological issues, developing self worth, and making enduring change.
